Abandon Meg Cabot

After the accident, 17 year old Pierce tries to start over. But even after moving to a new town and starting a new school, he still keeps showing up — always when she least expects him, but exactly when she needs him most.

One thing she knows for certain: John Hayden may be irresistible, but he’s no angel.

But if Pierce lets herself fall any further, she may just find herself spending all of eternity in the one place to which she swore she’d never return . . . .

. . . his world: The Underworld.

Wow, Wow, Wow!! John Hayden is officially my favourite male character in a book ever which is saying something if you consider my previous favourite was four. If this book is ever a film I hope that they cast someone who looks exactly as described.
Anyway enough about my new love and more about the story.

This plot was interesting from the start and although there were a few fairly complex flash backs throughout the story I was still able to keep up. I know that there are things about this book that I should hate like Pierce and how she flips between her emotions, how easily she ditches her cousin and how she talks about her rich daddy but I actually found that those things made it easier than your usual girl meets a fit boy falls in love some kind of drama and the happy ever after.

I managed this book in two sittings but once I was three quarters of the way in I couldn't sleep until I had finished the book. I have read reviews that speak negatively of the set up of the story, saying that the book is boring. I didn't find that at all I enjoy knowing a little bit more about the characters.

Breathe - Elena Dillion

16153090

This book was interesting from the get go, immediately talking about Jasmines murdered sister Daisy.

Jasmine wanted to be an ordinary teenager, like everyone else, but the fact that her sister's murderer had never been caught and the incessant media attention on her and her family meant they were always on edge. She and her family moves from Burbank, California to a small town in Louisiana. For the first time, she could be anonymous, the new girl in school, unburdened from her past.

Your heart strings are seriously being plucked as you follow jasmine to her new school and as she makes new friends. I was cheering for her when she met Easton. for a while I enjoyed what felt like it would be an easy happy ending for Jasmine but once I got halfway through things got much more complicated for our main girl.

Unlike so many other stories Jasmine is a strong female lead character and it is very refreshing to read about a girl with a purpose other than falling in love with a boy. This is not to say that the love story here is not exciting, I loved Easton (Who doesn't?).

The Villain in Breathe is cruel and calculated he is manipulative and there were definite points in the book that I did not think that Jasmine could deal with his evils. the parts of the book involving this monster were fast paced, they were very intense and I was scared to think that these sorts of people do actually exist.  Elena covers lots of different issues that are faced by lots of teens and young adults all over the world not just in California such as panic attacks and making new friends in a new school.

I think it is so brave for Elena Dillon to write about bad things happening to teenagers when she has children herself.

I found Breathe to be inspiring and a complete page turner. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. 10/10 there was nothing that I did not like.

T25 weight loss journey - Week 1

I was unsure whether to write this blog or not you see I find it awkward to talk about but I decided that there are lots of people struggling with their weight and I love reading blogs and watching videos about peoples success so I'm hoping that everyone is kind and this is kind of a motivation to do well.

Really we have started this already a week behind so i will use this week to introduce my plan and to also give my results from week 1.
So firstly I have decided to try the Shaun T's T25. which claims to be an hours worth of workout in just 25 minutes, I have previously struggled to find time to go to the gym so a 25 minute workout sounds good to me I did however start off this week doing trying Shaun T's Hip hop abs to see which I prefer.

Its been a tough week trying to eat healthy and to fit in 25 minutes of excersize each day but I managed it!!!!! yey me!!! I have not eaten a single piece of chocolate or any crisps and i even resisted our weekly take out night. i have found the workouts OK, I say OK because i enjoyed the workout and i did feel worked out but some of the moves are a little complicated and Shaun T is really annoying.

In all it has been a very good week and I lost a huge................

3.5lb

Earn extra money - Forever Living

Earlier this week I was contacted by a girl I have not spoken too in 4 years, we were previously very good friends and she said she had something she thought I might be interested in. Intrigued and excited I went along and met her and her friend Kaylee. When I got there Kaylee had a thick folder and I thought oh no what are they going to try and sell me now. to put it bluntly I was not excited any more but when Kaylee started speaking I was instantly captivated so I wanted to share with you.

What is forever living?
Founded in 1978 and based in Arazona the company is design to help everyone who wants a better future to attain. ForeverLiving is a multi- billion dollar company selling wellness products based on Aloe Vera. ForeverLiving relies on its distributors to try and promote the products to people they think may like it.

I decided that this could be a great opportunity for me mostly because of the financial rewards that are possible but also because ForeverLiving promise top quality products of your money back. Naturally I am quite a sceptical human being but I have been trying to say yes to new opportunities and give myself a fighting chance at succeeding in a happier, healthier life.

I am excited to reap the rewards from putting hard work into something that is essentially going to be my own business. I f this seems like it might be something you are interested in or if you just want to find out about starting your own Forever Living journey or the products on offer then you can contact me directly on emmacoxy88@gmail.com

I want to be able to make my dreams a reality and I am truly hopeful that this journey and the support from my new Foreverliving family will help me reach them no matter how big they get. now i know that this post has been a little long winded but I am excited about my new project and I want anyone that is interested to be excited about it too because you really can do it!!

The Girl in the Box by Robert J. Crane Review

I read all three of these books marathon style, one straight after the last and so it took quite a long time to get through them. I am reviewing all three but also trying not to give too much away.

The first book lets us get to know a lot about Sienna and how she was brought up without ever looking outside. Sienna is special and you learn why in this book. When she finally escapes her home I was rooting for her and the friends that she made along the way. Each book after adds a little something to the story be it new characters or a slightly different story plot.

Some of the reviews I read about these books said that it was written in the style of a comic book. I have only had a few experiences with comic books but I didn't feel like they resembled a comic book at all. The characters are sort of your super heroes and villains that you would find in comics I guess but not to the extent that makes the book enjoyable.

Sienna has a lovely relationship in books one and two however this seemed to slip in book three but nothing else seemed to replace the romance at all.

In short I enjoyed the first two books and the first half of the third book however the last half of the final book seemed to drag out and get a little boring, I am glad I read the series because it is a little different to anything I have read before so overall I am positive about the books.
